Get ready with me: simple eyes and bold lip!

Hi everyone!

I am a huge fan of simple looks for normal days, so I´m going to show you how I did my makeup yesterday. My go to look, usually is a soft smoky eye and bold lips, so here´s how I did it:

First, don´t forget to prep your skin, I apply my usual moisturizer cream and eye contour cream, both by mac.And don´t forget to apply some lipbalm on your lips!

After your skin absorved all the cream, it´s time for foundation. This time I mixed two: Make Up For Ever HD in #125 and Illamasqua Skin Base in shade SB 02. The MUFE one is so dark for my skin now, and the Illamasqua one has my skin color, but because right now I ran out of facial primer I can´t use it by itself, I mixed this two to get a good match for my skin. Then, I applied my concealer by Illamasqua in CC 115. I set my foundation with Studio Careblend powder in Light and my concealer with the Banana powder by Ben Nye. (I will have soon a post in this two last products, I want to test them a little more to share with you my impressions).

For my eyebrows, usual routine: Concrete eyeshadow and my 208 brush.

On the eyes I used some Painterly Paint Pot (a sample that I got the other day) and applied Copperplate all over the lid.Then, I blended the edges, and applied Ground Brown on my lash line and lower lash line. For the water line, some Teddy eye khol. I curled my lashes and apply two coats of my new mascara, In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash (what a long name!). For highlight my eyebrow I used Brulé, so similar to my skin color, but I didn´t want nothing so shiny for this look.

For the cheeks, some contour with Harmony and some light blush in Stay by Me (my favourite right now, I use this all the time). For highlighter, Catrice Prime and Fine in Fairy Dust.

On my lips, I used a lipmix in Fuchsia. It looks amazing, and last a veeeery long time.

I know it seems a super long look to do, but is just like 15 minutes or so to do it.

In the photos appear the brushes that I used for every product, just in case you want to know.

La verdad es que para días normales, soy muy fan de looks muy simples. Y ayer tuve un día de look simple (para lo que puedo llegar a ser yo jajaja) y os voy a enseñar como realicé el maquillaje. Normalmente, para hacer estos looks simples, suelo hacer un ojo ahumado en tonos neutrales, muy discreto. Y siempre me gusta aportar una nota de color con algún color potente de labial.

Vamos a ello.

Primero, como siempre, apliqué mi hidratante y mi contorno de ojos para preparar la piel para el maquillaje. Y no os olvideis de aplicar un poquito de vaselina o bálsamo en los labios tambien! Ambas cremas son de MAC (por desgracia para mi bolsillo, la primera vez en mucho tiempo que una crema no me da reaccion alérgica) y el bálsamo labial es de EOS (un regalo de cumpleaños =D)

Después de que la piel haya absorbido la crema, es el momento de aplicar la base. Esta vez, tenía ganas de cambiar de base, asi que mezclé Make Up Forever HD en el tono #125 con la base de Illamasqua Skin Base en el tono SB 02. La base de MUFE es un poco oscura para mi, y la de Illamasqua, sin prebase, no se queda bien (y aun ando en busqueda de un primer facial que me acabe de convencer, porque adoro esta base de Illamasqua) y mezclándolas di con un buen tono para mi piel. Como corrector, usé uno de Illamasqua, en el tono CC 115. Para fijar la base usé Studio Careblend de MAC en el tono Light y para fijar el corrector, Banana de Ben Nye. (Dentro de poco tendré preparados reviews de estos dos últimos productos, me los han regalado y aún ando investigándolos para poderos hacer un post con todo detalle)

Las cejas, como siempre (es raro que use otra cosa, la verdad) sombra Concrete y la brocha 208.

Para los ojos, usé de base un Paint Pot (una muestra que me dieron el otro dia, y me esta encantando!) en el tono Painterly. Para la sombra, usé una de mis favoritas ahora mismo, Copperplate, por todo el párpado y después difuminé los bordes. Apliqué un poquito de la sombra Ground Brown en la línea de pestañas superior para dar profundidad y otro poquito en la línea inferior de pestañas. Para delineación interna usé Teddy. Un par de capas de máscara de pestañas (otra cosita nueva, que me está gustando mucho! es la In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash, la máscara de nombre eterno XD) y para iluminar un poquito la ceja, usé un tono mate, Brulé.

En las mejillas realicé un poco de contorno con Harmony, y un toque ligero de colorete en Stay By Me (uno de mis favoritos del momento también, lo uso para casi todos mis looks). De iluminador, usé el Prime And Fine de Catrice en 010 Fairy Dust.

Y en los labios, apliqué un lipmix en Fuchsia. El color es maravilloso, y además dura mucho tiempo sin retocar.

Se que parece un look interminable para hacer, pero en unos 15 minutos esta listo.

Touch of pink

Yesterday I wore a ver simple makeup, but with a touch of color, and I thought I was going to share it with all of you (and for pink lovers, I´m sure you´re goint to like this one!)

I did my usual foundation routine, but this time I didn´t do any contour, I wanted to keep the face so simple. Instead of that I took my peachy blush and put it on the apples of my cheeks (going for the doll look but not so havey), and some highlighter, just to give some glow to the face.

For the eyes, one of my favourite products (perfect for a fast makeup if you´re on a rush) Bare Study paint pot, some mascara and black pencil on the waterline.

And here comes the key on this look. I took one of my favourite fuchsia shades, Fusion Pink by MAC, and did my lips. Because I don´t have any lip pencil to line my lips on the same color, with the same lipstick and a brush, I lined it and then fill the lips with the lipstick.

(The swatch of the lipstick is on natural light, because on camera looks extremely red =S)

This color is a very bright fuchsia with a tiny bit of red undertone. I prefer that my colors has more blue than red undertone because it matches better with my skin, but this color is just the greatest fuchsia I´ve ever seen. It has the right amount of shine (it´s an Amplified finish, what means that is shiny and cream) and stays for a very long time on the lips.

I forgot to take a picture yesterday with the look, But as soon as I take one with this lipstick, I will show you =).

Hola a todos!

Ayer llevaba un look muy simple, pero con un toque de color bastante importante, así que decidí compartirlo con vosotros, creo que os puede gustar bastante =D (y sobre todo para aquell@s amantes del rosa, no os lo perdais!)

Realicé mi rutina normal de maquillaje, pero esta vez no realicé nada de contorno, quería mantener el look lo mas simple posible. Con un colorete de tono melocotón, lo apliqué en las mejillas y difuminé bien, para dar mas o menos un acabado de muñeca, pero sutil. Y luego, con un poco de iluminador en el hueso de la mejilla, muy ligero, terminé con la cara.

Para los ojos uno de mis productos favoritos (y si estais en un apuro de tener que salir corriendo, con el tiempo justo para el maquillaje, os lo recomiendo!) el paint pot Bare Study de MAC. Después un poco de máscara y delineación interna en negro.

Y aquí esta la clave de este look. Cogí un color fuchsia (uno de mis favoritos, y es complicado que me gusten estos colores porque no soy muy de rosa) Fusion Pink de MAC y lo apliqué en los labios. Como no tengo un delineador del mismo tono, con un pincel de labios primero delineé y después rellené el labio.

Este color es un fuchsia con un ligero subtono rojo. Suelo buscar siempre en mis labiales que tengan un subtono azul, porque combinan mejor con mi piel, pero este en particular es uno de los fuchsia mas bonitos que he visto nunca. El pintalabios es de acabado Amplified, lo que significa que tiene bastante brillo y es de acabado cremoso. Dura bastante tiempo en los labios sin ningún problema.

Esta vez no tengo una foto del look de ayer, a cambio os dejo una foto con un swatch del pintalabios en luz natural, porque en camara aparece muy rojizo.

Purple Masquerade

Hi there!

Today I´m going to tell you how I did my Purple Masquerade, a very easy look for Halloween. The only thing you need is time, because it takes a while to do it, but after, the result is totally amazing!

The first thing I did for creating this look was draw the lines of the masquerade with a light blue pencil (you can use any color, but I recommend you to use light colors like white, light blue, because they´re easy to cover later with black) so if you make any mistake, you can easily take it off and start again. You can create any design you want, like, and if you need inspiration, google is a very good source of it!

Later with some black aquacolor by Grimas and my 209 brush by MAC I followed the blue lines, making a thick line. After that, I took some black eyeshadow (Noir) from my Bad Girl palette of Sleek Makeup and started building the color, from the bottom of the masquerade to the top (I used an angled brush by Real Technicques and then a normal eyeshadow brush to apply it). Blended with the black, I put some purple from my Inglot palette, with a clean brush. Make sure all the colors blend together!

Then I put some purple eyeshadow by MUA all over the black line that surrounded the eyes,but not so much. With a big shadow brush I applied some Parfait Amour all over my lid and lower lash line and blend the edges with some Vellum eyeshadow. And for blendin the purple on the edges with Vellum I used Da Bling shadow and a blending brush. I filled my eyebrows with a black pencil.

For the top part of the masquerade I used Parfait Amour and on the end in my forehead, I put Vellum, like a transition from dark to light color.

Probably you will have to put some black again on the lines, so take your brush and later put some black shadow to set the aquacolor. Don´t forget to put some mascara if you´re not using falsies!

You can put if you want rhinestones, glitter, any kind of decoration that you like, but I wanted to make it like a simple option for Halloween.

Hoy os voy a contar como hice la Máscara Veneciana que os enseñé el otro día. Es un look bastante sencillo para Halloween, lo único que necesitáis es un poco de tiempo y paciencia, pero el resultado merece totalmente la pena!

Lo primero que hice, fue con un lápiz azul clarito (cualquier color claro os vale, blanco, un azul como el mío, porque después con el negro que vamos a usar, quedará cubierto) marcar el diseño de la máscara. Y si en algún momento cometes un error, puedes borrarlo sin dejar marca. Podéis crear cualquier diseño que queráis, que os guste... Y si necesitáis algo de inspiración, google siempre viene genial! Yo estuve viendo unas cuantas fotos antes de decidirme mas o menos como hacer el diseño.

Ahora viene la parte mas o menos mas complicada del look. Con aquacolor en negro de Grimas y la brocha 209 de MAC, fui repasando todas las líneas que había dibujado con el lápiz, para ir dando forma a la máscara. Y luego con una brocha sesgada de Real Techniques y sombra negra (de la paleta Bad Girl de Sleek Makeup) fui rellenando la parte inferior de la máscara. Con una brocha grande de sombra y el color morado de mi paleta de Inglot, lo fundí bien con el negro y rellené el espacio que quedaba libre hasta la siguiente línea. Asegurad que los colores estén bien fundidos y no se vea ningún corte brusco de color.

Con una sombra morada de MUA, apliqué el color alrededor de la línea que limitaba los ojos. Y con lápiz negro rellené mis cejas. Con una brocha grande para sombra apliqué por todo el parpado y la línea inferior de pestañas la sombra Parfait Amour y para eliminar cualquier corte, difuminé los bordes con la sombra Vellum. El espacio que quedaba entre el color Vellum y el morado de MUA lo difuminé usando la sombra Da Bling. Delineé la línea interior de pestañas en negro, y puse solo una capa de máscara de pestañas. Podéis usar pestañas postizas si lo preferís.

En la parte superior de los ojos, apliqué la sombra Parfait Amour, y la difuminé hasta lo que quedaba por rellenar con color, con la sombra Vellum de nuevo.

Repasé las líneas negras para intensificarlas de nuevo con el aquacolor y puse sombra negra encima para fijarlo.

Si os gusta, podeis poner cristales, purpurina, cualquier adorno que os guste. Yo no usé nada porque quería mantenerlo como un look simple para Halloween pero igualmente colorido.

The brand and the girls teamed together and created the products that will help the fans recreate the look of each one of the girls, being a reflection of the personalities.
