Sleek Makeup "Romance"

I was expecting for this, and yesterday night I saw it on the Instagram of Cloud10, Sleek Makeup is back for Fall with a new palette and blush!

Finally the new collection of Sleek Makeup for Fall is out, and it´s call "Romance".

The collection has as usually a palette and a blush, this time they didn´t come with anything else.

The blush, Antique, for me is very beautiful. Is a dusty rose tone, and on the web they said that you can use it as highlighter if you apply it on a light way, or like a blush, because the color is buildable, so you can give to your cheeks the intensity you want. They say it fits every skin color.

The palette is for the iDivine collection, is called Vintage Romance. What I like the most of this palettes are the names of the eyeshadows, all with cities from Europe! Love in London, Meet in Madrid, Forever in Florence... So cool! All the colors seems to be in the metallic finish with a great variety from the warm tones to the cold tones. It includes a dark matte tone for giving definition to the eye.

You can get this on the Sleek Makeup Web or in Cloud 10 Beauty Website.

Hope you like the post, see you on the next one!

The perfect tweezers

Hi Everyone!!

After the lash glue post, I feel that I have to talk to you about this.

Since I had it on my hands had save my life. And there are the tweezers for applying false lashes (Burlesque have this on their store).

I´ve always use the classic tweezers, the ones you use to pluck your eyebrows, to put on the lashes and press a little bit to help the lash to get stick better. But I have to recognize that even they help a lot, a wrong move and all can end in a tragedy, lash glue everywhere and the lash totally stick on the tweezers (and if you get lucky, maybe you don´t hurt your eye).

One day I was visiting Burlesque Store, and they showed me the tweezers, because I am a total mess applying fake lashes on my eyes (I am so slow, and my hands shakes a lot...) I decided to gave them a chance. And I promise you it was my discovery of 2012 and is one of my favourite things in 2013!

The tweezers may seem so simple and even you can compare with the regular ones, but I assure you it has nothing in common. The precision and holding that this tweezers gives you while you apply the lash it´s totally different than with a regular one. And for people with trembling hands (I do have a very trembling hands, everyone that knows me  notice that in the first second they met me!) it´s a great help and applying your lashes will be very much easy to do! And for applying lashes in other people is very comfortable to use.

The product comes from Japan and the girls there use it a lot, because they´re obsessed with lashes.
For me, right now is a basic thing on my professional kit and when I´m doing my makeup too, so I hardly recommend you to give it a try. And they have a very reasonable price.

Lash Glue nightmares are over!

Hello there!

I know that probably a lot of you knew about this, but I didn´t and I am so excited!

I was in need, but really in a big need of lash glue. My last one, I don´t know why, start smelling so bad (normally the lash glue smells horrible, but my glue, everytime I opened it can kill people just with the smell!) and it had this weird yellow going to grey color that wasn´t very normal thing, so I thought that was time to get a new one.

When I buy the lash glue in Madrid, I usually go to Burlesque (I will put in the end their facebook page, they are amazing! Incredible people with the most amazing products in makeup and wigs that you can imagine), they have the dupe of the DUO Adhesive for just 6€, so I prefer to get this one instead of paying 12€ for the same product in MAC.

Dupe for this one down here!

But here in London I don´t have my beloved Burlesque store... So I went into the hunt of a new lash glue.

Obviously I knew that in MAC I can get the DUO for 10 pounds, but I wanted to find something else. Here in the UK the people wear way more lashes than we do in Spain, so here there is a lot more of lash models, and of course, more glue types!

In YouTube I saw a lot of gurus using the black lash glue, the one with brush, for single lashes, but in Spain if you don´t order that from the internet, it´s impossible to get it on a store.

And finally I found the perfect lash glue. Or at least for me it is! Is the Eyelure Lashfix. It comes in a crystal bottle, and the thing that I like the most from this glue is the applicator. Is a bar that allows you to put as much glue as you want. The regular bottle for me it was sometimes a nightmare, because when I pressed it to get a little bit of glue, usually came out a lot of glue... but with this applicator is more easy for me, and I think that for everyone (and for beginners is perfect)

So for those that didn´t know about this glue, or for the people that never give it a chance to it, you must try it, is really good!

Don´t forget to visit Burlesque Facebook Page and give it a like!

Hope you like the post, and see you on the next one.

Makeup travel bag

Hello everyone!

Well, sorry for the lack of post, I´ve been so busy! But today I´m back with a post that you may like it.

I don´t know if this happens to you, but every single time I have to fly, I hate packing my makeup. I can´t decide what to leave, what to take with me... And normally I pack way more makeup that I need. But, when I travel, I like to take with me on my purse a little bag with the basic stuff that allow me to do my makeup if I need to, and don´t look like a ghost in the middle of the airport.

The first thing you obviously need is a vanity case, but not so big. Mine is a little one that I found a long ago in Primark that have the perfect size for my purse and I can carry everything inside.

One of the things that I think you really need is makeup remover wipes (on travel size, of course!) and some moisturizer cream. I always like to clean my face with one wipe and apply my cream when the flight starts, and keep my skin hydrated for the whole flight.

I like to have too hand wipes to clean my hands after applying my cream. You don´t want to have your hands sticky all the time!

And then, I have my makeup. I do prefer to travel with compact makeup, because for the pressure of the flight, any crystal pot can explode and cause a big mess (that happened to me once, my Studio Fix explode inside my bag, and you can´t imagine how horrible is that!). Because there is usually a big change of temperature inside the plane, I also prefer to take a solid concealer and not liquid (also, one of my liquid concealers got bad on a flight, from that day on, always a solid concealer!). I carry my normal podwer for setting my foundation, a bronzer and a set from MAC that has highlighter and blush on the same box, with a mirror.

This one is Terracotta Bronzer by Guerlain

Hocus Pocus set from the Holiday Collection of 2009 from MAC

Then I have my eyebrow palette (cause I do my eyebrows with eyeshadow), my mascara of the moment and my paint pot from mac that I can use as an eyeshadow. Also I have my lash curler.

My mascara, They´re Real by Benefit
This is my palette fro travelling.

And for brushes I have a very tiny travel set from Bobbi Brown, that has every brush that I need and I don´t have to carry the big ones.

If I need to use any eyeshadow, I like to put on my eyebrow palette a neutral one (like Patina or Satine Taupe) a highlighter (Shroom is my all time favourite) and some black (Carbon is the one that I usually take). But if you can carry a big palette, I like to take with me my Naked 2 palette.

For lips, depending on the day, but I like to have a dark color and a gloss, so I can wear whatever I want in that moment (that usually is the darker color)

So that is what I carry on my bag when I travel, hope you like the post, and see you on the next one! And for those who are travelling soon, safe flight!

Sigma

Hello there!!

I was not sure about this, but now is confirmed. Sigma is changing some of the things in their brushes.

The firs noticeable change is that from now on, all the Sigma brushes will have the three ring ferrule in all the brushes.
All the Make Me kits are being changed to come with this new feature.

And now, in all the handles of the brushes you would see a sticker that will say "Made In China" because even they´re a U.S.A based company, they produce their brushes in China.

So if you get any Sigma brush now, it probably will be different, so don´t be scared!

Hope you like the post, and see you in the next one!

New Stuff!

Hi there!!

I have some news for you guys...

Well, I am super excited to tell you that you can pre-order the new brushes from Gossmakeupartist very soon! They will be avalaible from the 12th of September. If you´re really interested on getting this brushes don´t forget to pre-order, because they´re made in small amounts, so probably it will be sold out so soon!
I will put the link of the website where you can make the pre-order (from England and Europe Only, for the US I didn´t find the link, sorry!)

Pre-Order of the brushes

And more new stuff, finally, Charlotte Tilbury has her new makeup line! This last two days she has been in Selfridges (the one in Oxford St), showing the line and giving advice to everyone that went to the counter. I am going very soon to visit the counter and try the products, but all that I´ve seen until now in Instagram and in her website, I really like it a lot... In fact, one the the products that I am more curious about is the Color Chameleon Pencil. I will tell you about every product when I visit Selfridges!

For those who love the neon colors, Sugarpill Cosmetics finally have the new neon pigments with glitter. Everybody is crazy with this ones in YouTube right now. I really like this kind of colors for artistic makeup, colorful photoshoots, etc. The only thing to work with this kind of colors in pigment format is that you need a very good base for the pigment to stick in. But the colors are to die for! And the brand also has a new palette, Cold Chemistry, designed in collaboration with Amelia Arsenic. Is a four eyeshadow palette, with an incredible pigmentation, and the shadows are in big size, so I really think it worth to get one if you like it.

And another palette that became very popular lately is the Lorac Pro Palette, it has 16 eyeshadows ( 8 matte finish and 8 shimmer finish) and the palette also has a Mini Behind The Scenes Eye Primer as gift. There are all neutral shades, some dark colors but the rest are very warm.

So this are all the news,
Hope you like it and see you on the next post!!
