Autumn Haul

Hola a todos!

Hoy vengo con un haul acumulado ya de bastante tiempo, como siempre no son muchas cosas, pero creo que os pueden resultar algunas un tanto interesantes. Comencemos!

Today I´m here with a haul of stuff that I´ve been buying for at least this last month and a half. There´s not so much, but I think you may like some of the things, so there we go! 


Empecemos con mi ultima visita a Primor. Como viene siendo costumbre, estaba todo hecho un desastre, asique acabé en la sección de cosmética koreana y cogí dos mascarillas faciales, una de Coenzima Q10 y colágeno (básicamente para ayudar a la acción antiarrugas y efecto antioxidante y nutritivo), y la otra para mi madre de Granada (antioxidante y muy hidrantante). También compré los polvos fijadores All About Matte! de Essence, porque me dijeron que los iban a quitar y la gente comenzó a decir que ya no los había, pero según la chica de Primor no es verdad.

On my last visit to Primor (a drugstore very popular on my country, super cheap and with a lot of brands like Wet n Wild and Nyx, that aren´t so easy to find here) I bought two facial masks, one for me and another for my mom, mine it has Coenzyme Q10 and collagen (anti-wrinkle effect, antioxidant and nourishing) and the one for my mom has Punica essence (antioxidant and very moisturizer). I also got the All About Matte! by Essence, there was this rumor saying that this powder was going to be discontinued, but according to the sales girl it was a total lie.

Me dejé caer  por Sephora, debido a una promoción y por ver la nueva línea de maquillaje de Marc Jacobs. He de decir que el packaging, los colores, todo esta cuidado al mínimo y la gama de color es muy amplia y bonita. Lo que más me decepcionó fueron los labiales, ya que son en gel y pigmentan muy poco. El resto me pareció muy bueno y de pigmentación muy buena. Acabé comprando el lápiz en gel de ojos en el color 42 Blacquer. Es waterproof, de color negro intenso e incluye un sacapuntas.

I went to Sephora because they had a special offer and also because I wanted to see the makeup line by Marc Jacobs. The packaging, the colors, everything has been taken care to be the perfect product for any woman. The color range is also pretty awesome and very beautiful. What disappointed me the most were the lipsticks, because they have a gel formula and that means very light color pigmentation. I took the gel eye crayon on the shade 42 Blacquer. It´s waterproof, intense black color and it has its own sharpener included on the pencil.

Viniendo Halloween ya de camino, siempre me dejo caer por Burlesque para coger algun par de pestañas dramáticas y hacer algun look, y estas fueron las que escogí. Son bastante largas y muy tupidas en el comienzo, ya que llevan el pelo cruzado.

Halloween is coming, so I went to Burlesque to pick some dramatic lashes to create a look, and this ones where perfect. Super long and dramatic on the inner corners!

He ido a MAC un par de veces, y este ha sido el resultado. Mi piel está muy rebelde últimamente, así que he vuelto a mi adorada Oil Control Lotion (travel size) que siempre que la uso me da muy buen resultado y regula muy bien la grasa. Después de mucho buscar, iba a comprar Soft&Gentle (un mineralize skinfinish perfecto para iluminar) pero ví que tenían Lightscapade, que lleva en mi wishlist siglos y siglos porque aquí en España no estaba; así que le compré. Otra cosilla que fue mas que nada un capricho acumulado de hace tiempo, fue ni mas ni menos que el colorete Azalea (un tono fucsia de base azul y acabado satinado). Y para terminar, por una promoción del Corte Inglés (una tarjeta que te acumula el 20% de tus compras), compré el labial Viva Glam II y después el lápiz de labios Subculture.

I have visited MAC store a pair of times, and this is the result (as always, so much stuff). My skin is so rebel lately, so I got my trustworthy Oil Control Lotion that keeps my skin perfect, on travel size. I was going to get Soft&Gentle as a highlighter, but it was a big surprise when I saw that Lightscapade was back! So I ended up getting that one. A little treat for myself was the very amazing blush Azalea, it´s a bright iridescent blue pink on satin finish. And to finish with MAC, thanks to a special promo on a big mall here in Spain, I got my Viva Glam II lipstick and the lip pencil in Subculture.

Y esto es todo! También contaros que estuve en la feria Salon Look, y para mi fue un chasco total. Estaba cambiada de pabellón, y los precios tampoco eran nada de otro mundo, con deciros que lo único que compré fue una lima de uñas porque el resto no merecía la pena. All About Matt! by Essence: First Impression

Cómo va la semana? Espero que muy bien, y que no estéis pasando demasiado calor... Aunque eso esta un poco complicado, porque mi odiado verano ya empezó oficialmente.

Hoy vengo con un review, aunque podría considerarse una "primera impresión" también la verdad. Después de haber visto bastantes vídeos hablando del producto que os voy a enseñar y de leer muy buenas críticas por diferentes blogs, me decidí a buscarlo (ya que en un par de vídeos, las chicas eran de países de mucho calor y decían que en temperaturas altas aguantaba perfectamente). Me ha costado un poco encontrarlo, pero el otro día finalmente me hice con el All About Matt de Essence.

Son unos polvos compactos que aunque se ven blancos por fuera, obviamente son traslúcidos una vez aplicados en la piel. En la parte de atrás del producto dice que ayudan a fundir los colores de la base y el colorete juntos, que ayuda a mantener un acabado mate y natural todo el día y que es válido para todos los tonos de piel.
En uno de los vídeos que vi, una maquilladora los comparaba con los Prep+Prime de MAC (el tiempo que los usé fueron mis favoritos y no usaba otra cosa para fijar mi maquillaje).

Vivo en Madrid, y sé que hay ciudades mas calurosas en mi país, pero aquí también pega bastante fuerte el calor. Cuando llega el verano, generalmente me es imposible llevara nada mas en la cara que no sea protector soltar, labial y las cejas maquilladas (porque mis cejas naturales están muy despobladas y da penilla verlas sin nada). Pero obviamente, cuando compré estos compactos, al día siguiente me maquillé y los probé. Mi maquillaje aguantó en perfectas condiciones y sin brillos mas de 6 horas. El día siguiente a este, maquillé a dos personas para un evento y el maquillaje de nuevo, aguantó sin problema en ambas durante toda la noche (y el mío aguantó de nuevo 6 horas sin problemas). No contenta con eso, ayer lo volví a usar, y de nuevo mi maquillaje aguantó perfecto y sin brillos.

Leyendo mas detenidamente la composición, porque ni me había parado a hacerlo, vi que llevaban talco. No es de lo mejor que pueda llevar un producto, ya que puede contener otros componentes no recomendables... Pero esta vez voy a hacer de tripas, corazón.

El precio fue de 3.79€, y creo que es muy barato comparado con cualquier otro en el mercado. Pero sobre todo, efectivo.

Así que, si andáis en busca de un producto que realmente mantenga los brillos a raya, os lo recomiendo (a no ser que no queráis cosméticos con talco). Y os lo dice una persona, que en estas fechas se empieza a olvidar del maquillaje hasta que bajan las temperaturas, pero ahora no va a hacer falta.

Hello guys!!

How´s the week starting? Here the weather is so hot, and the summer oficially started (and I hate summer, I´m not made for hot weather).

Today I am here with a review/first impression post. And very surprised to write something like this so fast!

It took me a little to put my hands on the product, because it was always a sold out, but the other day I found it and bought it. I´m talking to you today about the All About Matt Essence Fixing Compact Powder. All the things that I´ve seen on Youtube and read on blogs was very good reviews and everybody loved it.

The product claims to keep your skin matt and natural all day, to blend blush and foundation colors together, to fix makeup as a finishing powder and is for all skin tones. Although you can see is white, on the skin is translucent.

I tried the product the day after I bought it, and my makeup was perfect for more than 6 hours. The next day I did my makeup and got a little work with two ladies, and I used this powder to set their makeup, and they told me that everything was perfect and there were no shine anywhere. Next day I did my makeup again and I got another 6 hours of perfect makeup with no shine.

Here in my city, now in summer the weather is so warm, and the temperature is so hot ( from 32º to 40º celsius degrees) and find this product I think is going to help me to wear something else that sun cream, lipstick and my eyebrows done in summer.

The only thing is that if you don´t like talc on makeup, stay away from this product, because is the first ingredient that you can see.

But if you can toletare a little bit of talc, I recommend you to give it a chance. I´m doing it and I am so happy with the results.

May Favourites !

Hola a todos!

Como estáis? Aquí en Madrid ya se empieza a notar el calor, y es algo que llevo fatal... Pero bueno, esta vez vengo con una entrada que no he hecho nunca, pero esta vez si que he tenido unos favoritos constantes durante todo el mes de mayo, así que allá vamos!

Empiezo con el Agua Micelar de Garnier. Soy muy fan de las aguas micelares a la hora de desmaquillarme porque me resultan mucho menos abrasivas que cualquier otro desmaquillante o toallitas, y no me irrita la piel nada en absoluto. Después de haber leído muchos reviews sobre esta en concreto, me deje caer por el Carrefour y me la compré. El precio es de unos 3€ largos, casi 4€, pero es un bote de 400 ml. Relación precio-cantidad me pareció una ganga absoluta! Y después de unas casi 3 semanas de uso, la piel me la limpia bastante bien, y para desmaquillar bien los ojos lo que hago es sostener el algodón durante unos segundos en el párpado y elimina todo casi de un tirón. Para las que uséis máscaras waterproof, también las elimina perfectamente. No tiene perfume y lo recomiendan para pieles sensibles.

Durante este mes de mayo he usado esta máscara de Astor, "Seduction Codes: Nº1 Volume & Definition". Me ha sorprendido mucho, porque casi no se cae de las pestañas, tiene un color negro muy intenso y la verdad es que aporta bastante volumen a las pestañas. Hay que tener un poco de cuidado si aplicas dos capas, porque es una máscara muy espesa y puede parecer que llevas pegotes en las pestañas. Y su precio fue de 5.50€ en Mercadona (me la compré en plan rápido porque me quedé sin máscara y lo mas cercano era el Mercadona, y estoy muy contenta de haber elegido esta!)

Otro favorito de este mes, sin duda ha sido mi esponja clon al Beauty Blender de Burlesque. Para fundir bien el corrector y para aplicar el corrector en granitos puntuales la verdad que esta siendo una salvación, porque si aplico el corrector sobre un granito con pincel, se me irrita aun mas y es peor el remedio que la enfermedad.

El colorete Heat Wave de la línea Blush up, me ha sorprendido mucho! He tenido otros coloretes de Essence, pero este me ha encantado la pigmentación del color y su duración. Lo que hago para aplicármelo es pasar la brocha de un color a otro y así poder tener la mezcla de los dos. La mezcla de este da un tono coral muy bonito y favorecedor para esta época del año. Y los coloretes de dos tonos me gustan un montón!

Por ultimo, un producto que me esperaba mucho mas, y me ha decepcionado un poco. El fijador de cejas de Catrice, ni mas ni menos. Estuve usando durante un tiempo una máscara transparente para fijar las cejas (me las maquillo con sombra y si no pones algo para fijarlas acabas hecha un desastre) pero se me gastó y decidí probar el fijador de Catrice. Estoy acostumbrada a que otros fijadores en cuanto los pones las cejas se quedan en su sitio en una pasada y no se mueven, es como si te pusieras laca en las cejas. Con el de Catrice, al menos en mis cejas no termina de fijarlas del todo y al par de horas las cejas no tienen rastro del producto. Ademas, para mi gusto, la brocha tiene unos pelitos rectos que se suponen que son para peinar, pero son demasiado blandos. Lo acabaré, pero no ha tenido el efecto que yo esperaba.

Hello everyone!

How are you? Here on Spain is getting warmer and warmer the weather, Summer is coming! And I hate it so much... But well, that´s what we have here. I´ve never done this kind of post before, but this month I really had a few favourite things that I´ve used non-stop, so let´s get started!

First, is this micellar cleansing water by Garnier. I do prefer micellar water to remove my makeup instead of whipes or other makeup removers, because is way more gentle with my skin. And this one, in particular, had a lot of good reviews so I decided to give it a chance. It costed me around 4€, but is a large size product, you get 400ml (normally this micellar waters never have more than 100-200ml) so is a very good deal. It´s recommended for sensitive skin. After 3 weeks of use, I can say that it really works removing makeup, but if it´s a heavy makeup maybe you have to insist a little more.

Another product is a mascara by Astor, "Seduction Codes: Nº1 Volume & Definition". I bought this one on a rush, on my local market for less than 6€, and I am extremely happy with it! The color is ver black, and it didn´t fallout. The brush is a big one (but thinner in the middle). The only thing is that you have to be careful cause´it can get a little bit clumpy, but is a really good one.

A blush from Essence, the Blush Up in #10 Heat Wave. Is a two-toned blush, with one side in orange and the other in a hot pink. You can apply it of that colors, or mix both and get a very beautiful coral shade, very awesome for this time of the year! It last a lot on the skin (6 hours), and is matte finish.

The dupe of the Beauty Blender that I have, from Burlesque Madrid, has saved my life. Lately I had a lot of breakout, and if I apply a little bit of concealer with a brush, it gets very bad, but with my sponge was easier to apply and less aggressive for my skin. and for blending concealer it has been very helpful too.

For the last product, one that it was not what I expected. The Lash Brow Designer by Catrice. Usually, all the lash gels that I´ve used always left my eyebrows perfectly in place and until I removed my makeup, they stayed on. Well, this one only last on my eyebrows for a couple of hours and doesn´t fix my brows. I use eyeshadow to do my eyebrows, so is a big deal that this doesn´t work. I will try to finish it, but I expected a lot more of holding.

Gold and Smoky Look!

Hi everybody!

As I told you yesterday, I got a request look by Twitter, and the girl was looking for a look that may contain gold, brown or eyeliner for a special ocassion. So I make a pair of looks, just to give her some inspiration, I hope you like it!

The foundation, is the usual routine, but this time I changed the concealer to the MAC Pro Longwear in NC20. This concealer is amazing hiding dark circles (and today I have a big dark ones) and it last forever, it doesn´t move... is amazing. And I thought that for a special time this concealer is great. In both eyes I applied as a base Bare Study Paint Pot by MAC. And my eyebrows are the same as always.

For the first look I went for a smoky brown and gold color. I used my Naked palette from Urban Decay (the first one) and I mainly use Half Baked all over the lid with my 239 brush, on my socket bone (as a transition color) I used Buck with a Smashbox brush #10. After, on the outter corner of my eye I applied Darkhorse with a 286 brush and somked it out (I went a little inside the socket bone to blend this color with Buck). On my lower lash line I used the long lasting eye pencil by Essence in  Bling Bling and on top of that I applied some Smog eyeshadow with a detailer brush by Real Technicques. On the outter corner of the lower lash line I put some black eyeshadow (Carbon by MAC) to give some depth to the eye. On the upper lash line I lined it with the pencil Graphblack and blend that with some black eyeshadow and the 219 brush. I lined my waterline with Graphblack too. And later curled my lashes and put a good coat of mascara. As a highlighter on my brow bone I used the Virgin color from the Naked Palette.
For my cheeks I used Shroom (by MAC) as highlighter and did a light contour with my Terracota Podwer by Guerlain (#1) and the 109 brush. For blush, I used an eyeshadow from MAC, called Paradisco.

For the second look I wanted something more classical with eyeliner. So I put all over my lid some Illamasqua Pure Pigment in Marvel (gold color) and with a tiny bit is enough, because the color payoff of this pigment is amazing. I blend some of this gold pigment to my socket bone, and to give some definition to the eye, I applied on the socket bone Omega eyeshadow with a 224 brush (both by MAC). Then I did a winged black eyeliner on the upper lash line. On the lower lash line I used long lasting eye pencil by Essence in  Bling Bling and blended it with some Dream Maker eyeshadow and a tiny brush. On the outter corner of the lower lash line I put some Mulch eyeshadow and blended it a little bit with the Dream Maker color. I lined my waterline with Graphblack pencil by MAC and put some fake lashes (a very dramatic ones) to add some glam to the look. For my cheeks I just put some Springsheen Blush by MAC on the apples of my cheeks, in a very light way, and for the highlight again Shroom by mac.

For both looks I used the same lips. I lined it using Whirl by MAC, and on top I applied M.U.A lipstick in shade 14. Is maybe a little nude lip, but both looks has so much on the eyes, so I wanted to keep it neutral.

Como os dije ayer, recibí una petición por twitter de una chica que quería un look para una ocasión especial que tuviera marrón, dorado y eyeliner. Así que he hecho estos dos looks para darle inspiración (y espero que le gusten) y espero que os gusten a vosotros también.

Como siempre hice mi rutina normal de maquillaje, pero cambié de corrector. Esta vez usé el Pro Longwear de MAC en NC20. Este corrector es impresionante, cubre muy bien la ojera y dura muchísimo (sin necesidad casi de aplicar polvo encima, al menos en mí) y como me dijo que era para una ocasión especial, opté por utilizar este corrector que hará que parezca que hemos dormido muchas horas y que tenemos una ojera perfecta =). Las cejas las llevo como siempre, mi rutina diaria. Y para ambos looks usé de base el Paint Pot de MAC en el color Bare Study.

En el primer look realicé un ojo ahumado con marrón y dorado. Básicamente sólo he usado colores de la paleta Naked de Urban Decay (la primera). Apliqué por todo el párpado la sombra Half Baked con la brocha 239 de MAC. Para fundir bien este color y dar definición al ojo apliqué la sombra Buck con la brocha #10 de Smashbox por toda la cuenca del ojo, difuminando bien cualquier trazo que pueda quedar hacia la ceja, fundiendo el color en la piel. En la parte externa del ojo usé Darkhorse con la brocha 286 y poco a poco fuí creando el efecto ahumado, mezclando bien los colores e integrándolo incluso un poco en la cuenca para que se mezclase con el color Buck. En la línea inferior de pestañas apliqué el lápiz de Essence Bling Bling y con la brocha Detailer Brush de Real Technicques difuminé el trazado del lápiz con la sombra Smog. Para la delineación superior de pestañas usé el lápiz Graphblack de MAC y apliqué también un poco del mismo lápiz en la esquina inferior externa del ojo para dar definición y lo difuminé todo con la sombra Carbon de MAC y la brocha 219. Para la delineación interior del ojo usé el mismo lápiz negro, Graphblack. Para iluminar mi ceja  usé el color Virgin de la paleta Naked. Y ya para finalizar el look, hice un ligero contorno (con los polvos Terracota de Guerlain #1 y la brocha 109), apliqué un poco de colorete usando la sombra Paradisco de MAC y como iluminador en la mejilla, usé Shroom, de MAC. Sin olvidar rizar las pestañas y aplicar una buena capa de máscara.

En el segundo look opté por algo mucho mas clásico y con eyeliner. Apliqué por todo el parpado el pigmento Pure Pigment de Illamasqua en el color Marvel (color dorado) y con un poco de este producto realmente es mas que suficiente, porque su pigmentación es impresionante. Lo difuminé suavamente hacia la cuenca del ojo, pero sin subirme demasiado. Con la brocha 224 y la sombra Omega (ambos productos de MAC) definí mi cuenca, para darle un poco mas de forma al ojo y que la transición del dorado a mi color de piel fuera mucho más sutil. Después delineé el párpado superior creando un eyeliner estilo 50´s. Para la delineación interna usé Graphblack de MAC. En la línea de pestañas inferior apliqué el lápiz de Essence Bling Bling hasta la mitad y para difuminarlo usé la sombra Dream Maker (MAC, tono dorado pálido). De la mitad al final de la línea inferior de pestañas apliqué la sombra Mulch (MAC) y con la brocha 219 la difuminé hacia el exterior y la parte final del eyeliner. Para finalizar el look, iluminador en la mejilla y en la ceja, Shroom y de colorete (aplicado en las mejillas y muy difuminado para un acabado muy suave) Springsheen (ambos productos de MAC) y unas pestañas postizas bastante tupidas para darle un toque de glamour al look.

Para ambos looks mantuve un labio muy neutral, ya que los ojos estaban bastante cargados. Usé el lápiz de labios Whirl de MAC y el labial de M.U.A en el tono 14.

Mini Haul

Well, today I was going to upload a "look of the day" but I lost every picture I took with my camera, so I will upload tomorrow a request that I got by twitter with a few eye looks to make up for not having one today =).

Yesterday I went  to do some shopping, but just a pair of things, and I ended up my tiny shopping moment with a gift!

First of all, I always have this fight in the makeup field, and is to find something that last more than 20 minutes in my waterline. So I went to MAC and ask them about that (and apart of the fluidline in Blacktrack) they recommend me the Technakohl Liner in Graphblack (previously I´ve used some MAC  pencils like Smolder, Feline and Engrave, but any of them resist in my waterline) saying that is known for being one of the most resistant pencils by MAC, so I decided to give it a try. And I hope that really works!

Later I went to one of my favourite stores in Madrid, Burlesque. I went because I wanted to get some fake blood for Halloween, but I was looking for the one that has a very deep red color and I knew that there I could find it without any problem. So I got the one by Grimas called  Filmblood B of 100ml. It´s a lot of blood, believe me. And for creating some looks for Halloween I think is the perfect size, a bigger size of product would be very much.
This guys that work in this store they´re soooo awesome and nice, and they gave me an incredible gift, a dupe for the Yachiyo brush by Nars. Is exactly the same, any difference at all! If you´re looking for this brush, I recommend you to check their facebook page, because they have a set of three brushes that looks amazing! The brush is so light in the hand, the hairs are so soft and the handle is not as uncomfortable as I thought it would be, I am extremely happy with this brush.

Today, after watching the September Favourites video by Sharon Farrell (here I leave you the link) I decided to get the long lasting eye pencil by Essence in "Bling Bling. I really loved the color on the video, but when I went to the store, I loved it more! And it was just 1.99€, so I didn´t think it so much and took it. Tomorrow I will test it in one of the looks that I want to do, so I´ll tell you about my first impression.

Hoy iba a subir el look del día, hice las fotos con mi cámara, y cuando iba a descargarlas al ordenador, habían desaparecido... Así que en compensación, mañana subiré varios looks (por una petición que tuve en twitter sobre un look) por no haber subido uno hoy.

La verdad que mi pequeño shopping moment acabó muy bien, porque me hicieron un regalo increíble!

Primero hice una visita a MAC. Siempre he tenido la pelea de encontrar un producto que aguante en mi línea interior de pestañas por más de 10 minutos. Les pregunté sobre las posibles opciones que tenía, y a parte del Blacktrack (el fluidline que he usado durante casi dos años) me hablaron del Technakohl Liner en el color Graphblack, que es de los más populares por ser muy resistente (previamente a este he usado Feline, Smolder y Engrave). Espero que realmente sea bueno y aguante mas de 10 minutos, o si no, tendré que darme por vencida.

Después hice una visita obligada a una de mis tiendas favoritas en Madrid, Burlesque. Como idea principal iba a mirar cositas para Halloween, sobre todo sangre falsa(de color rojo oscuro) que luego cuando se acerca mas la fecha es imposible encontrarla. Al final me decidí por la de Grimas "Fameblood B" de 100ml. Creo que hay versiones mas grandes del producto, pero creo que para crear unos cuantos looks para Halloween 100ml sobran.
Todos los que hayáis pasado por Burlesque sabéis que los chicos son muy amables y geniales, y ayer tuvieron el increible detalle de regalarme la imitación de la brocha Yachiyo de Nars, que la tienen disponible en la tienda. Es totalmente igual, así que si queréis esa brocha pero no pagar casi los 60€ que cuesta la original, esta os aseguro que es igual. De hecho tienen un set con tres brochas Yachiyo que os recomiendo que le echéis un ojo! La brocha me ha resultado increíblemente ligera, con un pelo suavísimo y un mango mucho mas cómodo de lo que yo esperaba. Estoy encantada con esta brocha, de verdad.

Hoy, después de ver el vídeo de favoritos de Sharon Farrell (aquí esta el link) decidí que iba a probar el lápiz dorado de Essence al que hace referencia, el long lasting eye pencil en "Bling Bling". En el vídeo se veía un color bastante bonito, pero en directo gana mucho mas! Y sólo por 1.99€, no he podido decir que no. Quiero utilizarlo en uno de los looks que tengo pensado hacer, así que os daré mi primera impresión sobre él mañana mismo.

Facial Skin Care Routine!

Well, since I came here to London my skin really looks better and feel better. All the redness, breakouts and pimples really calm down a lot, and I am so happy for that, because my skin is always a big mess.

The first months that I´ve been here all that I have used is the face masks from Superdrug (very cheap and nice! Really worth it) and my Mineralize Charged Water Moisture Gel from MAC that I´ve been using for more than a year and I absolutley adore. This cream is the only one, that in a very long time didn´t cause me any break out, or make my acne get worst, on the opposite side, it really help my skin to get better!
Eventually I stopped using the face masks, because some of them cause me serious redness, or breakouts, and the worst and last time, I got an allergic reaction and my skin really look very bad for two weeks (and I can´t use makeup, because the burning was horrible!)

But my skin can´t be without any product that helps me to control the oil excess, and all the things related to acne, believe me that it can end all in a horrible skin nightmare. So I went on the search for something to take care of my skin, but nothing convinced me enough to buy it. And then, I remember I have something that I may give it a chance.

The product is the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash by The Body Shop. I used this, and I didn´t like the effect that had on my skin, so I left it on my drawer and forget about it. I think that I didn´t like the effect of this product the first time because I used twice a day, and that made my skin to get extremely dry. The girl on the store recommend me to use like that, but this time I use it just once a day, every other day. And now it´s really working for me! It keeps my skin clean, the excess oil is getting controlled and my skin looks fresh. So now I combine this facial wash with my MAC cream as a skin care, and it´s making wonders on my skin!

For those who don´t know how the tea tree works, I´m going to tell you. Is bactericide, so it helps to keep the skin free of all the bacteria, it helps to heal (so any acne mark that you have can improve, but it doesn´t make it dissappear) and it has a balsamic effect, so it keeps the redness in line. And it´s known as a natural anti acne plant. Usually you can find it in the format of essence oil, and if you use it in this format, be very careful, with two drops you have enough to apply on the skin. But of course, there are other formats where you can find it like creams, soaps, facial washes, facial masks...

So if you´re having breakouts issues or acne issues on your face, I really recommend you to give a try to the tea tree. I am sure that you will like it.
