Sigma Flat Kabuki: First Impression

Today I am here for a "first impression" review of a new brush that I got for my birthday, the Sigma Flat Kabuki F80. I am very sure that probably you have heard about this one, and I was really curious about getting it, because the only thing that I´ve read and see about this brush are very good stuff. The person that convinced me to get this brush was a YouTube guru, Jaclyn Hill .

I´m going to be honest, the only brush of Sigma that I own was a very big disappointment for me. I got the one that is very similar to the 224 from MAC, the E40. I tried to use it for blending eyeshadows, and after getting horrible results, I left the E40 for concealer use (and for concearle has been a good one, no complains at all!). So, let´s say, that asking for the F80 brush, was kind a big deal for me.

The first impression that I got was good, is a little bit heavy (a thing that I like so much in brushes), it has a big handle but easy to hold, and the best thing for me: the hairs of the brush. The hairs are very thick and compact, so strong too and incredibly soft.

I used it for applying my Face and Body foundation. It felt really smooth against the skin, so gentle. It was very easy to cover all the areas of my face, and the finish that left of the foundation is so soft and natural, that I loved how it turned out the application.

So, this first impression is a very good one! I am so happy that I decided to ask for this brush, and maybe, I will get more brushes of this brand in a very short future.

Hola a todos!

Hoy estoy aquí para hacer un review de "primera impresión" de una brocha que me han regalado por mi cumpleaños, la Flat Kabuki F80 de Sigma. Seguramente que hayáis oído hablar de esta brocha (es una de las mas famosas de esta marca) y la verdad que tenía ganas de probarla, porque todo lo que había oído y leído sobre ella eran muy buenos reviews y críticas. La persona que me convenció para dar el paso  y probar la brocha fue una guru de YouTube, Jaclyn Hill .

Primero, os voy a ser sincera. La única brocha de Sigma que tengo es la similar a la 224 de MAC, la E40. Y fue una gran decepción para mí. Mi intención era usarla para sombras (ya que es una difuminadora) pero el resultado en ese campo fue pésimo. No conseguía un buen difuminado porque el pelo de la brocha se abría mucho y dejaba zonas sin difuminar... En fin, un total desastre. Así que la desterré para brocha de corrector, y ahí no tengo ninguna queja, es de mis favoritas para aplicar corrector. Digamos que pedir la F80 de Sigma para mí, fue un atrevimiento de los grandes.

La primera impresión que tuve de la brocha fue buena. Es un poquito pesada en la mano (cosa la cual me gusta en las brochas, que pesen un poquito), tiene un mango grande pero a la vez fácil y cómodo para coger la brocha; y lo que más me sorprendió: el pelo. El pelo de esta brocha es muy denso y compacto, pero a la vez resistente y muy suave.

Apliqué mi base Face and Body con la brocha, y la verdad que contra la piel se sentía muy suave. Fue bastante fácil cubrir todas las áreas de mi cara con la brocha y deja un acabado muy bonito a la base del maquillaje, muy natural. Me gustó mucho como quedó.

Puedo decir que esta "primera impresión" es una bastante buena! (mejor de lo que me esperaba, sinceramente) Y posiblemente que me aventure a probar brochas de esta marca en un futuro no muy lejano.
