Feeling Blue.

Perdonad mi ausencia por aquí, pero la verdad que últimamente por razones de salud y de trabajo he estado bastante liada y no he tenido tiempo absolutamente de casi nada.

Excuse me for being M.I.A. but it has been for health and work issues, I´ve been very busy and had 0 time for doing absolutely nothing!


Pero de nuevo estoy de vuelta con un look en tonos azules, que me ha dado fuerte con este color, lo estoy usando casi todos los días en diferentes tonalidades. Y de paso, aprovechando el look, os enseño un par de cositas nuevas que tengo y que me están gustando mucho.

But here I am again, with a new look on blue shades, that lately is a very big obsession for me. I use blue almost every single day for my makeup on different shades. And, at the same time I´m going to show you a few new things that I´ve been enjoying a lot!


Vamos a ello!

Como siempre, empezamos con la base de maquillaje, corrector y cejas (si os las maquilláis). No he cambiado nada de lo que os suelo enseñar, quitando la base de maquillaje, que es la nueva Pro Longwear de MAC, de la que en en breves os haré un review. Estoy intentando dar con un polvo que le de un acabado bonito, y de momento los Primed&Poreless no van demasiado mal, pero no llegan a matificar tanto como a mi me gustaría.

Let´s get started!

As always, foundation routine first, including some concealing and eyebrows. I didn´t change any of my usual products but the foundation. As you see, is the new Pro Longwear by MAC, and you will have vey soon a review about it. I´m trying to find a powder that really blend well with this foundation, the Primed&Poreless work fine but they´re not as mattiying as I would like to.

Ahora vamos al centro del look, los ojos.
Como siempre, sabéis que aplico mi Paint Pot de MAC en el tono Bare Study. Después, con el lápiz Aquashadow de MUFE en el tono 6E he delineado las pestañas superiores y lo he difuminado. Si probáis estos lapices, veréis que son muy pigmentados, así que haced una línea muy finita e ir difuminando hasta que quede a vuestro gusto (o haced lo mismo con el producto que uséis en su lugar). La maquilladora de MUFE me dijo que estos lápices no necesitan nada para quedarse fijos, así que no aplico sombra encima. Después, en las pestañas inferiores, vuelvo a delinear, pero esta vez con el lápiz Chromagraphic de MAC en el tono Marine Ultra y para fijarlo y difuminarlo un poquito más he usado la sombra Outremer de NARS.

Now, let´s go to the important part of this look, the eyes!
As always, I apply my Bare Study Paint Pot as a base. Then, with the Aquashadow Pencil from MUFE on the color 6E I make a very thin line on my upper lashes and blend it towards my crease, creating a smoky effect. The makeup girl from MUFE told me that you don´t need any powder on top of this, so I leave it like that. After that, with the Chromagraphic pencil from MAC on Marine Ultra I make a very thin line again on my lower lashes and blend it with some Outremer eyeshadow by NARS and with the pencil I tightlined my eyes.

Para finalizar, como siempre, un par de capas de máscara de pestañas. Y por supuesto colorete e iluminador, pero muy sutil.

To finish, two good coats of mascara. And of course some blush and cheek highlighter, but very subtle.

En los labios llevo el perfilador Dervish de MAC y el gloss D14 de la línea Lab Shine Diamond Collection de MUFE. Me encanta el gloss, porque dura un montón aplicado y no es nada pegajoso! Y a parte, brilla de una manera que es para verlo en vivo y en directo, porque las fotos no le hacen justicia ninguna.

On my lips I´m wearing Dervish lip pencil by MAC and the gloss D14 Lab Shine Diamond Collection from MUFE. I love this gloss! It´s very long lasting, not so sticky and it shines beautifuly!

Nota: para todo el look he usado brochas de Burlesque, pero no os las puse porque estoy trabajando en un review de todas las que tengo, para que podáis ver los usos y la mejor manera de sacarles partido.

Note: I´ve used only Burlesque brushes to create this look, but I didn´t specify wich ones because I´m working on a big review of all to show you how to use them and tips .

Review: Too Face Primed & Poreless.

Hoy os traigo un review, de un producto que llevo usando algo mas de un mes, y me tiene muy sorprendida!

Today I have a review for you, about a product that I´ve been using for a little more than a month and I´m lovin´ it!

Como ya habeis visto, para fijar mi maquillaje usaba los All About Matt de Essence, pero llevaba notando desde hace un tiempo que me taponaba demasiado la piel y cada vez tenia mas granitos. Asi que me lancé a la busqueda de unos nuevos polvos matificantes (o algo que me valiera para matificar, ya el formato me daba igual, sinceramente).
As you have seen on previous post, I used All About Matt from Essence to set my makeup. But from a while ago I started noticing that my sking was breaking out more than usual, so I decided to find a new mattifying powder (or something that would keep my makeup in place).

Y topé con estos, los Primed & Poreless de Too Faced. Había oido autenticas maravillas de este mismo producto en su formato de crema, pero el chico de Sephora me recomendó estos en compactos.
And after a little bit of research, I found this ones, the Primed&Poreless from Too Faced. All that I´ve heard about this was nothing but good from the cream format, and the boy on Sephora recommend me to try the compact version.

Al probarlo, notas que el tacto es muy sedoso, que se difumina muy bien y se integra perfectamente con la piel. El chico hizo mucho énfasis en que no alteraba el tono de la base de maquillaje (lo cual a mi me interesa mucho, porque suelo oxidar todas las bases y siempre me aumenta un tono) y que realmente mantenía los brillos a ralla.
When you try them, you can feel that it has a very silky touch, that blends perfectly with your foundation and skin tone. The Sephora boy insisted a lot that this product wasn´t going to change my foundation shade at all, and it was going to keep any shine locked.

Aprovechando un descuento de Sephora, los compré y pensé "de perdidos al río". Las prebases de ojos que he probado de esta marca no me han ido bien, pero lo mismo con esto tenía mas suerte.
I took advantage from a special discount from Sephora and bought them. I´ve never had good luck with the eye primer of this brand, but maybe this will change with the compacts.

Y así ha sido, señor@s.
And it has been the lucky charm!

He notado que los poros se disimulan bastante, que aporta un ligero brillo (muy sutil, nada notable porque si no, ya os digo que ni lo compro) y que los brillos se mantienen totalmente controlados hasta 6 horas (al menos en mi).
Se puede usar tanto como polvo finalizador o como primer y después de finalizador. Sólo lo he usado como finalizador, pero en cuanto lo pruebe como primer os aviso.
I´ve noticed that my pores look smaller, that it gives you a little bit of a glow but super subtle (I have oily skin, I run away from any single product that can make the skin shine) and it keeps the shine on place through the day. You can use it as a finishing powder or primer. I´ve just used it as a finishing powder, but as soon as I try it as a primer I will tell you about!


Viene con una borla, pero lo aplico con una brocha de colorete (me gusta el tamaño de esta, y además tardo nada en aplicarlo por todo el rostro) a toquecitos y sin arrastrar. Con un poquito tienes de sobra para todo el rostro, no necesitas gran cantidad.
It has a sponge applicator, but I prefer to apply it with a blush brush all over my face. And you don´t need a lot of product, with a little you can powder all your face.

El packaging es muy bonito, quizá lo que menos me gusta es el color rosa, pero bueno, se lo perdono por tener tan buen resultado!
The packaging as always in Too Faced is so pretty, I don´t like so much the pink color but it works great, so I can overlook that.

Melted Lipstick: Review

Hola a todos!

Como estáis? Espero que muy bien y que la semana se haya portando bien, yo de momento no me quejo demasiado.

Hoy vengo con un review de un labial que ya os he enseñado en otro post (aquí os dejo el link) y es el Melted Lipstick en el tono "Melted Violet" de Too Faced.

No es un labial permanente, por mucho que la gente se empeñe en afirmarlo, es un labial en formato cremoso (viene en un tubo, como si fuera crema) pero es de larga duración. Solo con el packaging ya llama mucho la atención, porque siempre asociamos un labial con el formato de barra o bote con aplicador, pero en tubo resulta muy curioso.

En la web de Sephora lo describen asi: "la duración de un lip stain, el color intenso de un labial liquido y el brillo de un gloss". Y no es nada mas lejos de la verdad, porque reúne las tres cualidades sin duda alguna.

Después de unos cuantos usos, os puedo hablar ya con una opinión firme, y solo tengo que decir que me encanta.

El color es muy intenso, y cuando con el paso de las horas se va perdiendo, se pierde de manera uniforme sin dejar parches.

La textura en el labio es muy cremosa, mantiene el labio hidratado hasta que se pierde y no resulta pegajoso ni incomodo en ningún momento.

Cuando ya esta desapareciendo se sigue notando la pigmentación que deja en el labio.

Para desmaquillar, a pesar de dejar el labio pigmentado es muy fácil de quitar y no deja rastro ninguno (yo uso agua micelar para desmaquillarme).

En cuestión de duración, durante 4 horas estuvo en estado perfecto y a partir de ahí empezó a perder color (pero fue una tarde que salí en la cual estuve bebiendo y comiendo, asi que creo que es una duración muy decente!)

Lo único negativo que le veo a este producto es el aplicador, porque a la hora de dejar los bordes del labio definido, la esponjita no ayuda para nada y tienes que usar una brocha si o si, y el precio a lo mejor para mucha gente puede ser elevado (20.50€ en Sephora, cuando yo lo compré por un descuento se me quedo en 17€) así que recomiendo que si lo queréis probar pero no podéis pagar tanto, aprovechéis los descuentos que Sephora suele hacer.

Ahora mismo en la línea de Melted Lipsticks hay 6 tonos diferentes (Nude, Peony, Violet, Ruby, Coral y Fuchsia) y han sacado 4 tonos nuevos mas (aun no disponibles en España) Marshmallow, Candy, Berry y Fig.

I hope you´re having a great week, mine is going well, so I won´t complain at all!

Today I am here with a review of a lipstick that I showed you on a previous post (here you have the link) and it´s the Melted Lipstick on the shade Melted Violet.

It´s not a permanent lipstick, like a lot of people is saying lately, is a liquified long wear lipstick. And only with the packaging they catch your total attention, because is a tube with a sponge applicator, not so common on lipsticks!

On the Sephora website they say this about the lipstick: the shine of a gloss, lasting power of a stain and pigment-packed color of a liquid lipstick. And that´s all, the three things are so true!

After using it a few times, I can tell you a firm opinion, and it´s that I love so much this lipstick.

The color is so intense, and when it start to fade, it´s on a uniform way, no patchy areas on the lips!

The texture on the lip is so creamy, you feel your lip moisturized and it doesn´t feel sticky in any moment.

When the color totally leaves your lip, it leaves a light stain on the lip.

It´s so easy to take it off, with micellar water came out so easy (even the stain, totally dissapear from my lips).

During 4 hours was perfect on my lips, and after that was when the color started to fade away (but I was out having drinks and tapas, so it was a great lasting time).

The only thing that I dislike about this product is the sponge tip to apply it, I still needing a brush to get the perfect edges on my lips. And maybe the price for some people it´s so expensive, 21$. So I will totally recommend on using any Sephora discount to get it if you´re really interested on trying out this lipstick.

They have 6 shades of this lipstick (Nude, Peony, Violet, Ruby, Coral and Fuchsia) and for this fall they launched 4 new shades, Marshmallow, Candy, Berry and Fig.

Makeup & Cosmetic Haul

Hola a todos!

Como ha ido el fin de semana? Espero que un poco mejor que el mio, mi garganta me ha declarado la guerra y me he quedado sin voz y medio constipada... En fin, cosas del verano y aires acondicionados.

Hoy os traigo compras acumuladas de este mes, que creo que os pueden gustar.

Vamos a ello!

Lo primero y lo que mas emocionada me tiene, son este par de mascarillas faciales koreanas. Las he comprado en Primor ambas, por 1.95€. La primera era de extracto de árbol de te (para rojeces, granitos y pieles sensibles) y la segunda es de manzanilla (para cerrar poros y limpiarlos). Y las dos tienen efecto inmediato, una vez las quitas notas tu piel mejor. Me gustaba la cosmética koreana, pero creo que a partir de ahora tiene mi amor eterno jurado para siempre.

El labial "Melted Violet" de Too Faced. Esto fue un arrebato/auto-regalo/capricho acumulado de hace mucho tiempo, y aprovechando que lo vi un poco mas barato de lo usual me lo cogí. Es un labial en crema, con aplicador de esponja y no es de acabado mate, a pesar de eso es de larga duración.

Últimamente mis labios están un poco desastrosos (y eso que me los cuido, pero el verano y mi piel son enemigos eternos mortales) así que me decidí a volver a usar el Prep+Prime de MAC para labios, que ya lo use hace un tiempo, lo gasté y me encantó teniendo los labios mas o menos como ahora, es un aliado genial para llevar siempre unos labios perfectos.

Mis cejas son una batalla personal, que parece no tener fin. Cambié el tono con las cuales las suelo rellena (uso la sombra Charcoal Brown de MAC) y las fijaba con el fijador de Catrice. No se si se me habrá puesto malo por el calor, pero la cosa es que estaba muy liquido y cada vez que lo usaba, a parte de no fijar nada, hacía que la sombra se mojase y se me quedaban las cejas emborronadas. He cogido el Brow Set (el cual ya he tenido y era mi favorito porque fijaba como ningún otro) pero con color, en el tono Red Chesnut. Mis cejas no se mueven y ademas quedan muy naturales.

Seguimos en MAC, con una máscara de pestañas, la Extended Play Gigablack Lash. He oído maravillas de esta máscara, así que he decidido darle una oportunidad. Aporta definición y volumen, y dicen que tiene 16 horas de duración.

Como se va acercando el otoño, y entonces es cuando empiezo a usar mucho mas aun los tonos rojos y granates para labios, he cogido el lápiz de labios en el tono Currant de MAC. Es un tono púrpura muy intenso según la web de MAC.

En una visita a Primor, me llamó la atención este colorete de Makeup Revolution, es un tono rosa amarronado y me sorprendió cuando lo usé porque pigmenta muchísimo y además dura bastante en la piel sin necesidad de retocar.

También de Makeup Revolution me llamaba mucho la atención el labial Depraved de la línea Scandalous Shades. Parece un tono violeta, pero una vez puesto queda muy azul. La verdad que me decepcionó bastante y no pigmenta tanto como parece. Si estáis interesadas en estos colores, probarlos en la tienda antes y aseguraros que os gustan (yo no pude porque no tenían los tester).

Y ya para terminar, hice un Back To Mac y cogí el labial All Fired Up de acabado Retro Matte.

How you doing? I hope everything is fine, and you had an amazing weekend. Mine was a little rough because my throat was dying and I lost my voice =(.

Today I have for you a haul with a few things that I had accumulated during this last month and a half.

First thing that totally got me obssesed is this two facial masks. They´re korean, the first one is of Green Tea (for redness and sensitive skin) and the other is of Chamomile (to close the pores and clean the skin). They both had inmediate effect, and left my skin perfect. I will totally repeat, and try new ones.

The Melted Lipsticks were on my wishlist for a while, but the other day after finding them a little bit cheaper than usual and having a total crazy moment I got it on the shade Melted Violet. Is a very vibrant color with sponge applicator.

My lips lately are a total disaster and every single time I put lipstick on, it turns into a total mess. For that, I decided to get the Prep+Prime for lips, I´ve used this before (my lips were on the same condition) and it worked amazingly good.

For my eyebrows I got a brow set from MAC, after giving up with the Lash Brow Designer that I have from Catrice (it´s like liquid and doesn´t fix my eyebrows, plus it ruins the eyeshadow that I put on them!) and the one that I have is on the shade Red Chesnut.

I was on a serious need of mascara, and after hearing incredible stuff about it, I decided to got the Extended Play Gigablack Lash mascara. This one is to get a lot of definition and volume for your lashes.

And to finish with MAC, I got the lip liner in Currant, for the Fall. I love this kind of shades on the lips and all my others lip liners are so purple, so I went to this one that is a little bit more reddish.

On one of my last visits to Primor (a huge drugstore of my country) I took from Makeup Revolution a brownish pink blusher (super pigmented and cheap!) and a lipstick on a "violet" shade that looks super blue on the lips with a very poor pigmentation and I totally hate it.

And to finish, I got a Retro Matte Lipstick in All Fired Up on my last Back To Mac.
